Brendan Smith is a scholar graduate from Melbourne School of Fashion. He has also studied overseas and worked in Paris, learning Parisian techniques from Atelier Lognon and Maison Lesage of Chanel. Brendan has received awards from international organisations such as the American Arts of Fashion Foundation, also the American RAW Natural Born Artists Organisation. Brendan has appeared on Australian TV working with Henry Roth, dressed TV celebrities Jessica Rowe and Alex Nation from Australia’s The Bachelor just to name a few. He has been featured at the red carpet for Fashion Aid and Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. Brendan has freelanced for J'Aton Couture and the wardrobe departments of Australian Film and TV productions just to name a few. Brendan is currently working with Toni Maticevski and bespoke RTW label Speczmen.

Brendan was a graphic designer but no longer! He has been a fashion designer and maker since 2010. His graphic design background, has paved the way into his visual garment design direction with a meticulous attention to detail in what he creates. Brendan is a flat pattern maker, draper, fabric cutter, machinist, hand finisher and maker of all types of apparel. All hands on deck!
